This position is located at the 29 Palms Veterinary Treatment Facility.

• A one-year probationary period may be required.
• Must not have an aversion to animals, blood, fluids, tissues, odors, needles, or sharp instruments.
• Must be able to stand long periods, restrain animals, kneel, reach, etc.
• Ability to obtain/renew USDA/APHIS accreditation within 60 days of employment.
• Ability to work occasional Saturdays for events as needed.
• Successful background investigation submission to DCSA must be completed within 30 days for internal candidates.
• Appointment depends on a favorable suitability determination.
• Physical requirements include lifting animals and supplies up to 45 pounds, standing, walking, restraining, kneeling, reaching, and exposure to noise.
