An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Bookkeeper to join a well-established and growing business based in Richmond.

This role would suit a highly organised individual who enjoys working within a varied finance position and taking ownership of day-to-day bookkeeping responsibilities.

The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the wider business with financial administration and reporting.

• Managing day-to-day bookkeeping activities
• Processing purchase and sales ledger invoices
• Carrying out bank reconciliations
• Credit control and supplier payment management
• Preparing and submitting VAT returns Assisting with month-end procedures
• Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation
• Supporting payroll administration where required Liaising with external accountants and stakeholders
• General finance and administrative duties as needed

• Previous bookkeeping experience is essential
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
• Experience using accounting software such as Xero, Sage, or Quick Books
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and manage deadlines effectively
• Strong communication skills with a proactive approach
• AAT qualification or studies would be advantageous
