This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Vehicle Technician, Vehicle Mechanic or Automotive Technician to join a family-run automotive business in Richmond. You'll be working within an established workshop environment where quality workmanship, efficiency and customer service are highly valued.

This role would suit a skilled and enthusiastic Vehicle Mechanic looking for a new challenge and the opportunity to build a long-term career within a supportive team.

As a Vehicle Technician, Vehicle Mechanic or Automotive Technician, you'll be responsible for carrying out a range of servicing, maintenance, diagnostic and repair work while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.

• Carrying out a variety of servicing, maintenance and repair operations.
• Diagnosing vehicle faults and completing necessary repairs.
• Performing defined assembly operations and maintenance repairs to a high standard.
• Ensuring all work is completed efficiently and in accordance with safety and manufacturer standards.
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation of all service and repair work.
• Providing excellent customer support, technical advice and guidance where required.
• Working effectively as part of a professional and supportive workshop team.

To be considered for this Vehicle Technician position, you'll ideally have:

• NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair - essential.
• At least 2 years' experience working as a Vehicle Technician, Vehicle Mechanic or within the automotive industry.
• Strong diagnostic and mechanical repair skills.
• Good knowledge of vehicle maintenance, servicing and repair procedures.
• A commitment to maintaining high standards of quality, safety and efficiency.
• Excellent attention to detail and a professional approach to your work.
• A positive, hard working and team-focused attitude.
• Your own tools and toolbox.
• A full manual UK driving licence - essential. Licence checks will be carried out.
• A current MOT Tester licence would be advantageous but is not essential.
