Childcare Apprenticeship – Level 3

Aspire Training Team are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and hardworking individual to complete their Level 3 Childcare Apprenticeship at Victoria Place Day Nursery.

Here at Victoria Place we have 3 rooms for our babies, toddlers and pre school aged children.

We have space for a maximum of 48 children per day from the ages of 6 months – 5 years.

• Assist in creating a warm, safe, and engaging environment for young children.
• Support the planning and implementation of age-appropriate activities to encourage learning and development.
• Supervise children during play, meal, and rest times, always ensuring their well-being.
• Work alongside staff to support children’s social, emotional, and physical needs.
• Help maintain a clean, organised, and hygienic setting following health and safety guidelines.
• Observe and record children’s progress, reporting to supervisors as required.
• Communicate effectively with children, staff, and parents, fostering positive relationships.
• Follow safeguarding procedures and policies.

• You must be able to gain a clear DBS.
• Preferably have GCSE grades A-C or 4-9 in Maths and English Language, or equivalent.

• The nursery runs all year round and is open from 08:00am – 18:00pm Monday to Friday.
• The successful candidate will be required to work a minimum of 40 hours per week.
