Role Description

The Associate Dentist is a part-time role based in London. Involving few Saturdays a month and then adding on Wednesdays as Your patient list grows. This role involves providing comprehensive dental care, including examinations, diagnosis, treatment planning, and performing restorative, preventive, and basic surgical procedures. The Associate Dentist will educate patients on oral health practices, present treatment options, and ensure patient comfort and safety throughout each visit.

Daily responsibilities include working closely with dental assistants and hygienists, maintaining accurate clinical records, and adhering to all regulatory, infection control, and quality standards. The role also includes contributing to practice growth through professional patient interactions and participation in team meetings and case discussions.

Qualifications
  • Licensed by GDC to practice dentistry in the UK, with a recognized dental degree (e.g., BDS or equivalent).
  • Demonstrated experience in general dentistry, including diagnostic skills, restorative procedures, preventive care, and basic endodontic and prosthodontic treatments.
  • Strong patient communication skills, including the ability to explain treatment plans clearly, obtain informed consent, and interact respectfully with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Commitment to high clinical standards, including meticulous record-keeping, adherence to infection prevention and control protocols, and compliance with professional and regulatory guidelines.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary dental team, showing reliability, professional integrity, and sound clinical judgment.
