Behaviour Mentor - Twickenham / Richmond Upon Thames

SANZA Teaching Agency is supporting a warm, inclusive primary school with a dedicated resource base for children with social, emtotional, mental health needs. They are seeking a committed behaviour mentor - Twickenham or surrounding areas - to join their team to support the development of this brand new social support inititaive. This is an excellent role for someone passionate about SEMH support, boosting confidence, and helping pupils thrive in a nurturing setting.

This position is based within the school's resource base, working closely with class teachers and pastoral staff to provide tailored SEMH interventions, 1:1 guidance, and small-group support. It's a fantastic opportunity for a behaviour mentor who enjoys building strong relationships and promoting positive behaviour strategies. Youth mentors, youth workers, youth group leaders, and those with similar experience are strongly encouraged to apply.

You'll enjoy regular part-time hours in a school that highly values teamwork, wellbeing, and strong SEMH provision. The role is easily accessible from twickenham, Richmond, and surrounding boroughs including Hounslow.

Requirements:

Experience supporting children in UK schools, ideally with SEMH or behaviour needs

Positive, patient, and proactive approach

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Understanding of safeguarding

Be local to the area or easily accessible Youth mentors or those with youth work / youth group leadership experience welcome

Ideally have some experience in education and training
