Clinical Senior Lecturer – St Mary's University, Twickenham
Contract: Permanent, 0.4 FTE
Salary: £90,000 to £150,000 pro‑rate (£36,000‑£60,000)
Annual leave: 35 days pro‑rate
St Mary's School of Medicine is building upon its proud heritage and seeks an experienced anatomy educator to help shape the curriculum and identity of our new MBBS programme. The successful candidate will also be considered for a strategic leadership role in interprofessional learning. ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will plan and coordinate clinical skills teaching in addition to lectures, workshops and seminars as required. The role includes:
- Delivering anatomy teaching across the MBBS programme.
- Contributing to objective structured clinical examinations, single best answer multiple choice questions and other assessments and marking.
- Shaping the curriculum of a new values‑led medical school, contributing to interdisciplinary learning and influencing future medical education.
- Full registration and good standing with the General Medical Council.
- Experience, ability and knowledge to teach clinical skills.
- Ability to develop co‑teaching and co‑learning opportunities, and interprofessional learning.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students.
- Commitment to professional development, including willingness to undertake training in teaching and assessment.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and contribute to curriculum development.
