Ample time and support to kickstart your teacher training journey the following year if you decide to pursue a PGCE. Your Role as a Graduate Teaching Assistant, as a vital member of the classroom team, you will:

Provide ongoing support to the teacher within your assigned classroom.
Conduct one-to-one and/or small group sessions to facilitate student progress.
Deliver tuition and booster sessions, especially for pupils with lower ability or Educational Health and Care (EHC) Plans.
Engage in reading sessions and offer numeracy and literacy support. Qualifications and Attributes

A Degree in any discipline.
Previous experience working with students, such as youth work, teaching assistant roles, university ambassadorship, graduate tutoring, etc.
Passion for working in a school environment.
Ambitious, with a strong yet outgoing and warm personality.
Flexibility, adaptability, proactivity, and enthusiasm are imperative.
