Role OverviewWe are looking for an enthusiastic and well‑qualified teacher to lead our successful Maths Department. You will build on existing strengths, manage the curriculum and teaching and learning in an innovative, rigorous and creative manner, and lead the Department into further success.
Responsibilities and ExpectationsYou will be expected to play a full and positive part in the life of the School. The Department follows the Edexcel iGCSE and A level syllabus, with Maths classes set by ability from Years 7 to 11. You will ensure all pupils enjoy learning Maths and aim high, providing stimulating teaching in an attractive and disciplined learning environment.
Qualifications, Skills and ExperienceTo be successful, you will demonstrate excellent planning, teaching and assessment skills; have high expectations, excellent classroom management skills, strong pastoral skills and the ability to motivate, encourage and inspire pupils. You must be committed, ambitious, and capable of delivering a high‑quality curriculum.
