Responsibilities

  • Facilitate engaging and age‑appropriate learning activities that cater to the diverse needs and learning styles of your students
  • Promote the social and emotional well‑being of your students, fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay up‑to‑date with best practices and emerging trends in special education
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and other stakeholders
Qualifications
  • Relevant educational or vocational qualifications, such as a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant Diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience working with students with special educational needs, such as autism, learning disabilities, or physical disabilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and provide empathetic support to students
  • Excellent observational and problem‑solving skills, enabling you to identify and address the unique needs of each student
