Teaching Assistant

Position: Teaching Assistant (Permanent, Contract)
Tezlom is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant with qualification of Level 3 or equivalent to join our supportive school team. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers to support pupils’ learning, helping to create a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Support the class teacher in delivering high-quality learning activities.

* Work with individuals or small groups of pupils to reinforce learning.

* Assist with the planning and preparation of classroom resources and activities.

* Provide additional support for pupils with special educational needs (SEN) where required.

* Monitor and record pupil progress and report back to the teacher.

* Help maintain a safe, supportive, and stimulating learning environment.

* Encourage positive behaviour and support pupils’ social and emotional development.

Requirements

* Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).

* Previous experience working with children in a school or educational setting.

* Good understanding of the national curriculum.

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

* Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

* A caring, patient, and flexible approach to supporting children’s learning.
