SEN Teaching Assistant - Richmond

Temporary Rate: £95-£120 per day (depending on experience)
Permanent Salary: £22,000-£28,000 per annum (depending on experience)

The Role- Support pupils aged 5‑16 with ASC, ADHD, SEMH, and additional learning needs.
- Provide 1:1 support and small group interventions.
- Assist teachers in delivering engaging and differentiated lessons.
- Support students with communication, social interaction, emotional regulation, and independence skills.
- Help implement EHCP targets and individual learning plans.
- Encourage positive behaviour and engagement in learning.
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff, therapists, and families.
- Promote safeguarding, wellbeing, and inclusion at all times.
- Experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant
- Learning Support Assistant (LSA)

- Experience supporting children or young people with ASC, ADHD, SEMH, or Special Educational Needs.
- A patient, resilient, and nurturing approach.
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.
- Relevant qualifications are desirable but not essential.
- Temporary pay rates from £95‑£120 per day.
