SEN Teaching Assistants / Learning Support Assistants

Whether you’re a graduate looking to move into education, or you already have experience working in schools or care settings, we are recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants / LSAs to work across secondary schools in London.

The Role:

As an SEN Teaching Assistant / LSA, you will support students with a range of needs including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties. You may work 1:1 with a student or support small groups, helping them access the curriculum and engage in school life.

Key Responsibilities:

* Providing 1:1 or small group support for students with SEN

* Assisting students with their learning, both in and out of the classroom

* Supporting behaviour management and emotional regulation

* Working closely with teachers and SENCOs to implement support strategies

* Encouraging independence and confidence in students

Ideal Candidates Will Have:

* A degree or relevant experience in education, care, or support work

* A genuine interest in SEN and supporting young people

* Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills

* The ability to build positive relationships with students and staff

* A proactive, flexible, and resilient approach
