Are you passionate about helping adults develop their English language skills and achieve their personal, educational and career goals? We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed ESOL Tutor to join our Foundation Learning team at a thriving adult further education college in Richmond upon Thames.

About

The Role

As an ESOL Tutor, you will have the opportunity to teach a range of ESOL programmes to adult learners from diverse backgrounds. Working collaboratively within the Foundation Learning team, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality teaching, learning and assessment that enables learners to achieve their full potential.

You Will
  • Deliver engaging and inclusive ESOL lessons to adult learners.
  • Teach an agreed annual timetable across a range of ESOL courses and levels.
  • Assess, monitor and support learner progress, providing high-quality feedback and guidance.
  • Contribute to maintaining high standards of teaching, learning and assessment.
  • Support positive learner outcomes, achievement and progression.
  • Act as a role model for teaching excellence and contribute to the continuous improvement of curriculum provision.
  • Work effectively with colleagues to ensure an outstanding learner experience and high levels of customer satisfaction.
About You

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced practitioner who is committed to adult education and learner success.

You Will Have
  • A recognised teaching qualification (or be willing to work towards one).
  • Proven experience of teaching ESOL to adult learners.
  • English and Mathematics qualifications at Level 2 or above.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
  • A commitment to excellence in teaching, learning and assessment.
