As a KS3 SEN Teacher, you will be tasked with planning and delivering creative, structured and differentiated lessons that meet the individual needs of pupils.

You will shape learners across Key Stage 3 by developing confidence, independence and essential life skills alongside academic progress.

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with individual learning needs
• Teach a broad and balanced curriculum adapted for pupils with SEND
• Assess, monitor and record pupil progress effectively
• Set ambitious expectations while recognising individual achievements
• Develop positive relationships with pupils to enhance learning and well being
• Implement effective behaviour management strategies
• Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists and other professionals
• Communicate effectively with families and carers
• Contribute positively to the wider life and development of the school

We are looking for a KS3 SEN Teacher who is passionate about outstanding education for all and motivated to help young people achieve their potential.

You will ideally have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching at Key Stage 3 level
• Strong knowledge of SEND and inclusive teaching practices
• Ability to adapt lessons to meet individual pupil needs
• Excellent classroom management and behaviour support skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare

• Experience working with pupils with autism, SEMH or complex learning needs
• Knowledge of personalised learning approaches
• Experience working with multidisciplinary teams
• Understanding of alternative accreditation pathways such as ASDAN, BTEC or Entry Level qualifications
• Confidence using technology to support learning
