The post sits in the Delivery Frontline team at NHS Property Services, keeping a healthcare environment clean, safe and welcoming for patients, visitors and colleagues. The core work is keeping the site clean to a high standard, supporting infection prevention and control, and following health and safety and COSHH procedures. It is a part‑time role with very early starts, working Monday to Thursday and Friday mornings from 5.00am.
Applicants need a standard DBS check, and experience in cleaning, hospitality or healthcare settings is welcomed.
- Carry out cleaning duties to a high standard
- Work to NHS Property Services policies, procedures and cleaning schedules
- Support infection prevention and control measures
- Follow health and safety and COSHH procedures
- Complete routine cleaning tasks efficiently and effectively
- Maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment across the site
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver an excellent service
- Experience in cleaning, housekeeping, domestic services, hospitality, facilities, care or healthcare environments, or customer‑facing roles
- Reliable and dependable
- Commitment to delivering high standards
- Able to follow procedures and work safely
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Pride in contributing to a positive experience for patients, visitors and colleagues
- Standard DBS check
