Client Relationship Director
Industry - Fleet Management / Vehicle Rental or Leasing
Hampton, Middlesex
£95,000 basic + up to £19,000 bonus + car allowance
Statutory Board Appointment
An opportunity for an experienced Client Services Director, Account Management Director or Head of Client Management to lead the client function of an established fleet management business.
Reporting to the Managing Director, you will take responsibility for client retention, account development and service performance while contributing to company strategy as a statutory board member.
The total package up to £125,000 per annum
£95,000 annual basic salary.
Bonus of up to 20% of basic salary.
£989 monthly car allowance.
Board-level influence over strategy and business improvement.
The role of Client Relationship Director
Lead and develop Client Relationship Managers and the Head of Customer Service and Business Improvement.
Protect and grow strategic accounts, overseeing renewals and commercial negotiations.
Monitor client profitability, contract performance and retention risk.
Manage senior client relationships and resolve significant escalations.
Drive improvements in customer experience, reporting and service delivery.
Oversee contract mobilisation and the introduction of additional services.
Ensure proactive fleet consultancy covering costs, efficiency, vehicle strategy and sustainability.
What the ideal Client Relationship Director would need
Proven leadership of client management teams within a complex B2B service business.
Success retaining and developing high-value client accounts.
Strong contract negotiation and commercial management experience.
Confidence engaging with executive and board-level stakeholders.
A track record of coaching teams and delivering service improvements.
Fleet management, leasing, contract hire or related sector experience would be particularly relevant.
An opportunity to combine client leadership with a statutory board appointment and real influence over business direction.
