We are looking for a Volunteer Manager to join our team. The role is full-time maternity cover. You’ll be on a fixed-term, full-time basis, working 36 hours per week, including weekends and bank holidays.

As Volunteer Manager, you will lead the day-to-day coordination, support, and engagement of our volunteer team to ensure a high-quality visitor experience. You will oversee volunteer scheduling and communication, maintain accurate records, and ensure volunteers are informed, supported, and equipped for their role. You will also build strong working relationships across the site and help to foster a positive and inclusive culture.
You will also:
- Support the daytime hours duty management system at Marble Hill
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and training activity where required
- Contribute to improving processes and volunteer engagement initiatives
- Experience coordinating or supporting volunteers or staff
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders
- Confidence using digital systems and maintaining accurate records
- A proactive and solution-focused approach
