B2B Sales and Field Manager

Location: East Sheen

Our Client Our client is a well-established specialist in the hire, sale and maintenance of forklift trucks and materials handling equipment , with more than 40 years' experience in the industry. They are now looking for an Area Sales Manager to take ownership of an established territory across the SL, RH and KT postcode areas. This is a great opportunity for a commercially minded sales professional who enjoys being out and about, building relationships and having the freedom to develop their own patch.

The Role This is a proactive, field-based sales role where you'll be responsible for growing sales across your territory, developing new business and nurturing existing customer relationships. You'll be selling both new and used equipment and service contracts , with plenty of opportunity to build your own pipeline and maximise your earnings through an uncapped commission scheme . You'll be responsible for:
Identifying and developing new business through telephone and field-based prospecting Building strong relationships with new and existing customers Promoting and demonstrating the company's range of products and services Arranging and attending sales and introduction meetings Preparing and presenting sales proposals Keeping customer and prospect information up to date within the CRM Working closely with the manager to develop and implement marketing initiatives within your territory What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is commercially driven, self-motivated and comfortable taking ownership of their territory .

You'll ideally have:
Proven experience in B2B sales , preferably within materials handling, plant, machinery, vehicles or a similar industry A proactive, "can-do" attitude and genuine determination to succeed Excellent communication and relationship-building skills at all levels Strong organisation and time management skills The ability to work independently whilst also being a collaborative team player Good, accurate IT and CRM skills A full UK driving licence Within 1 hr drive of Reading or Portsmouth Most importantly, you'll be someone who enjoys the challenge of winning new business, is confident getting out in front of customers and is motivated by the opportunity to earn through your own results.

What's On Offer?
