Sales and Operations Assistant
Our client is seeking an enthusiastic, driven and organised Sales & Operations Assistant to join their small and friendly team.
Company Benefits:

Key Responsibilities:
* Proactively identifying and developing new business opportunities through targeted sales activity and marketing initiatives.
* Managing the full sales process from initial enquiry and lead generation through quotation, negotiation, follow-up and conversion.
* Approaching dormant accounts to maximise conversions.
* Developing new business through proactive sales & marketing initiatives.
* Preparing quotations, following up on leads & sales opportunities.
* Building and maintaining strong customer & supplier relationships.
* Managing stock, availability, deliveries/collections to and from customer(s) sites.
* Updating the CRM/ Customer database daily to ensure all information is accurate and up to date.
* Resolving customer and delivery issues, escalating where necessary and providing excellent customer support.
* Supporting the wider team with day-to-day sales and operational administration.
* Developing wider industry knowledge of products, pricing, availability and delivery processes.
Experience and Skills Requirements
* Ideally, a minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a similar or office-based role.
* Confident telephone manner with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Commercially minded and interested in developing their sales skills.
* Good understanding of quoting, pricing, sales orders and delivery coordination
* Excellent IT skills and computer literacy, particularly Microsoft Office, Excel and databases.
* Reliable, self-motivated and can work as part of a team.
* Excellent attention to detail and high levels of accuracy and organisation.
* Good time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
* Quickly adapt to new techniques, processes, technology and other ways of working.
* Keen to learn and develop within a growing business.
