Your impact:
We seek an entry‑level Instrumentation and Controls Engineer who is excited about working on projects that enable the heart of our clients’ business. You will work on state‑of‑the‑art industrial and commercial facilities, be accountable for the schedule and technical quality of engineering tasks, provide on‑site assistance during startup, and coordinate work activities with other staff members and the discipline lead.
As part of a collaborative, multi‑disciplinary team, you will help design and optimize control systems for a variety of processes, working closely with architects, engineers, and designers to deliver complete, world‑class solutions for new facilities. Your responsibilities include developing P&IDs, sizing valves, and specifying instrumentation, and documenting and modeling design information while ensuring compliance with building codes and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities- Develop P&IDs, size valves, and specify instrumentation
- Document and model design information for process control systems
- Coordinate work activities with other disciplines and provide on‑site assistance during startup
- Ensure compliance with building codes and industry standards
- Associate’s or Engineering Technology degree in Mechanical, Control Systems, or Electrical Engineering
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Control Systems, or Electrical Engineering (ideal)
- Working knowledge of Revit software (preferred)
- Engineer in Training (EIT) status
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Forward thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contribute innovative ideas
- Displayed ability to learn quickly and driven to broaden knowledge base
- Ability to collaborate and work effectively in multi‑disciplinary teams
- Passion for buildings and construction
- Prior experience with DDC and PLC based control systems
- Experience with Data Center design or operations
