About the RoleAs an Instrumentation and Controls Engineer, you will design and optimize control systems for a variety of processes. Working closely with architects, engineers, and designers, you will deliver complete, world‑class solutions for new facilities. Your key responsibilities will include: developing P&IDs, sizing valves, specifying instrumentation, and documenting and modeling design information while ensuring compliance with building codes and industry standards.
Responsibilities- Manage schedule and technical quality of engineering tasks.
- Provide on‑site assistance during startup.
- Coordinate work activities with team members and the discipline lead.
- Develop options and optimizations for process control, instrumentation, and automation.
- Collaborate with multi‑disciplinary teams to achieve client expectations, scope, budget, and schedule.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Control Systems, or Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with Instrumentation and Control.
- Working knowledge of DDC, PLC, DCS, and other controls applications preferred.
- Experience working with Data Centers.
- Engineer in Training (EIT) certification.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Forward‑thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contribute innovative ideas.
- Driven to learn quickly and broaden knowledge base.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in multi‑disciplinary teams.
- Passion for buildings and construction.
