Summary
The ACT Team Lead serves as the supervisor of all clinical aspects of the Assertive Community Treatment program by directing, supervising, and monitoring the work of clinical and community support staff. The Team Lead facilitates weekly ACT team meetings, manages team schedules, and maintains program fidelity. Leads and trains counselors, social workers, and interns, with a small caseload of adult patients (18+) receiving clinical services in the community and office settings.
Position requires program administration skills and a high degree of independent decision-making. 40-hour work week with on-call after hours, weekend, and holiday coverage shared among team members.
Salary range: $57,000 – $85,250 DOE. There is extra pay for on-call hours, weekends, and holidays, plus an $8,000 stipend. Longevity bonuses: $6,000 after one year, $6,000 after two years, and $8,000 after three years of full-time employment. A production bonus is also available.
Responsibilities- Direct and supervise clinical and community support staff within the ACT program; facilitate weekly team meetings and maintain program fidelity.
- Lead, train, and supervise counselors, social workers, and interns; manage a small clinical caseload for adults 18+ in community and office settings.
- Oversee program operations, administrative duties, case documentation, and compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with the Behavioral Health Director and ACT team to develop the continuum of care for participants; supervise therapists and support staff; ensure ACT fidelity.
- Lead screening and referral process; provide psychotherapy/counseling and skills-building to patients and families as appropriate to the ACT model; develop treatment and discharge plans; provide crisis intervention as needed.
- Maintain and review case files, documentation for civil commitments or legal proceedings, and patient data to ensure appropriate treatment and care.
- Coordinate with legal and community agencies; facilitate outreach and education activities; participate in research projects or policy/procedure improvements as appropriate.
- Support PCMH initiatives and ensure compliance with Medicare, safety, and ethics standards; participate in mandatory trainings and sign relevant compliance statements as required.
- Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, or equivalent field.
- Current Idaho State license (Clinical Social Worker, Counselor, or MFT) in good standing or license eligible; license to supervise or eligible to obtain supervision certification.
- Minimum 3 years of clinical experience.
- Knowledge of evidence-based mental health counseling principles for adults; strong crisis intervention and documentation skills; ability to work with multidisciplinary teams.
