Overview
Equipment Operator - Twin Falls, at Vet Jobs
This is a full-time, hourly position. On-site role based at the location detailed in the job post.

- Properly operate and maintain all processing equipment to ensure it works at peak efficiency and to produce the desired quality and quantity of end product.
- Monitor the product being processed and set equipment for maximum processing efficiency.
- Conduct complete clean-downs (respirator required) and remove beans from the previous variety when changing varieties; remove mill screens as needed. Cleaning duties may involve reaching overhead and below knee, lifting, sweeping, and debris removal. Use fixed and portable ladders/stairs up to ~24 feet.
- Verify machinery maintenance; report and assist with repairs as needed. Perform general machine maintenance daily; may require reaching at or above shoulder height and ladders up to 24 feet. Periodic elevated work and rotating/twisting motions.
- Follow processing schedules and keep all equipment operating at peak efficiency.
- Prepare accurate processing reports for each lot (weights, box numbers, cull weights, processing dates, grading, and lot numbers).
- Conduct quality analyses and record results per the schedule; notify management of potential problems.
- Prepare processed products for storage; tag and record storage location; operate forklift and safely stack boxes in the warehouse.
- Stage and prepare product for processing; package final product by hanging, sewing, or stacking bags (bags 25–110 lbs); assist with pallet loading and stacking up to approximately four to five feet high; team lifts for heavier bags as needed.
- Lift up to 55 pounds; work in potentially dusty environments; respirator use may be required for extended periods.
- Participate in daily housekeeping and all safety and Quality Assurance programs (safety meetings, audits, etc.).
- Regular use of Powered Industrial Trucks (forklifts, skid steers, wheel loaders).
- Minimum Education:
High School/GED. - Flexibility to work any shift, including weekends and holidays as applicable.
- Ability to sit/stand/walk for long periods; comfortable working in confined spaces and from heights; bending, kneeling; able to lift 50 lbs repeatedly; able to wear a respirator.
- ADM requires successful completion of a background check.
- Base pay offered may vary by location, knowledge, skills, and experience. Overtime eligible for qualifying hours.
- At-will employment status; company reserves the right to modify base pay or other compensation programs at any time.
