** Job Description Summary
** C/D Shift    This position supports plant production operations by covering a wide variety of tasks which require some basic training and direction by the supervisor. These tasks may occur in any area of the plant

*** Operate simple equipment including powered pallet jack and tote bin dump.
* Perform the set up and breakdown of tote bins and pallets within the plant.
* Fill, rake and move tote bins.
* Properly stack knocked down totes and pallets.
* Repeatedly lift and stack cases of finished product as assigned.
* Maintain good housekeeping in assigned area including, but not limited to: sweep, shovel potatoes, rake, vacuum, hose, scrape/scrub, paint, pull vines, shovel snow or sand as directed
* Rework damaged or restricted cases and bags of product
* Clean, sanitize, and rinse production and packaging equipment during plant clean up.
* Work on painting projects
* Perform other duties as assigned.

Certifications:

High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.

Skills and Experience:

Effectively communicate in English verbally and in writing. Ability to understand instructions and follow directions in English (both written and oral).Have the ability and willingness to follow instructions.

Physical Environment/Demands:

Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and to stand, walk, bend, stoop, twist and turn frequently.

Exposure to manufacturing environments: loud noise, excessive heat, cold, wet, slippery conditions, dirt, fumes, smoke, smells and allergens.

Exposed to temperatures ranging from
-20 degrees below zero to 35 degrees Fahrenheit in Freezer Operation and 37 degrees to 90 degrees Fahrenheit in Plant Operation.

Ability to do repetitious arm, wrist and hand movements required for job actions and procedures.

Must be able to work with hands and arms overhead, and to work in or under the equipment.

Requires manual dexterity, overall coordination and good balance to work both at ground level and in high places to perform job duties. Ability to operate work related equipment

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
