Position OverviewMaterial Handler – responsible for assisting in the flow of production by managing material inventory, moving raw and finished materials, ensuring parts specifications, maintaining housekeeping, and performing repair work as needed.
Essential Functions- Observance of all safety rules and policies.
- Maintenance of material inventory.
- Movement of raw material through installation area.
- Ensuring proper parts specifications for chassis completion.
- Ensuring sufficient part supply at all processing stations.
- Movement of completed parts from installation area to shipping area.
- Assistance in repair work as necessary.
- Maintenance of good housekeeping practices.
- Teamwork and collaboration.
- Clear verbal and written communication in English.
- Ability to read and process written communication, including measurements and instructions.
- Meet production goals and deadlines.
- Work with minimum supervision.
- Operation of office equipment and hand tools.
- Physical lifting and maneuvering of weights over 50 pounds.
- Problem‑solving skills.
- Professional relationships with supervisors, teammates, and customers.
- Adaptability to changing demands.
Very active job requiring 98% standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and lifting/moving items over 50 pounds. Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception and focus adjustment.
Position Type/HoursFull‑time hourly position – Mon‑Thu 6:00 am‑4:30 pm.
Required Education & Experience- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Manufacturing/industry experience.
- Ability to read basic blueprints.
- Use of hand tools.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
