We are currently hiring for a Full Time (0.9 FTE) RN to support Magic Valley Infusion Center.
What You Can ExpectThe primary job of an Infusion Nurse is to administer various types of IV therapies based on orders from Physicians and other medical professionals. IV Nurses offer comfort to patients as they deliver medications intravenously.
Responsibilities- Assessing patients before IV treatments
- Administering medications, vitamins and other fluids through IV lines, ports and central lines
- Collecting samples and reviewing lab results
- Monitoring patients throughout infusions to identify issues early
- Responding to side effects or reactions to treatment
4, 10 hour shifts per week; between the hours of . Rotate taking call on the weekends which is about 6‑7 weekends/year.
Qualifications- Education:
Nursing Degree - Experience:
1 year’s experience - Licenses/Certifications:
Current RN licensure from the State of Practice AND Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association, or American Red Cross.
- Proficient in IV therapy, IV insertion, managing central lines, infusion pumps, and administering meds.
