POSITION OVERVIEW
As a HSE Lead your roles and responsibilities will include:
The HSE Lead will drive the plant s Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) programs and help build a strong safety culture focused on achieving zero accidents and incidents. This person will work closely with plant leadership, managers, employees, and regional HSE teams to implement safety standards, investigate incidents, identify hazards, and drive corrective actions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead HSE cultural transformation and safety initiatives across the manufacturing plant.
- Coordinate and oversee implementation of Health & Safety programs and processes.
- Investigate incidents and non-conformances and ensure corrective actions are completed.
- Perform root cause analysis and develop systems to prevent recurrence.
- Maintain accurate incident reporting and tracking systems.
- Partner with safety committees and HSE teams on incident investigations.
- Identify and eliminate physical workplace hazards.
- Provide HSE expertise for new projects and change-management activities.
- Ensure compliance with applicable OSHA, EPA and other regulatory requirements.
- Support regulatory reporting and compliance activities.
- Help implement HSE standards and close identified gaps.
- Build proactive relationships with plant leaders and managers to drive employee engagement.
- Partner with regional HSE teams to develop and execute HSE improvement plans.
QUALIFICATIONS
Most importantly, you need to be a passionate HSE Lead who enjoys his work and is considered to be one of the best within your organization. The ideal HSE Lead would be someone with deep experience in many (if not all) of the following:
- 5+ years of HSE/EHS experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of Environmental Health & Safety.
- Experience with OSHA, EPA and safety/environmental regulations.
- Experience with technical safety and environmental standards.
- Experience with incident investigation, root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Knowledge of ISO standards.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to influence and work effectively with employees and leaders at all levels.
- Bachelor's degree preferred/required; HSE/OHS, Environmental, Safety, Ergonomics or related discipline strongly preferred.
- Equivalent experience may be considered.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Compensation: Based on Experience. One of the best in the industry
Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree preferred/required; HSE/OHS, Environmental, Safety, Ergonomics or related discipline strongly preferred.
Minimum Experience: 5+ years of HSE/EHS experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
