Electrical Systems Engineer II

Akkodis is seeking an Electrical Systems Engineer II for a full‑time position with a client in Twinsburg, Ohio.

Base pay range
: $70,000 – $90,000 per year.

• Design & Development
  • Oversee design and development of electrical power generation systems and related components.
  • Originate specifications for new or modified electrical systems to meet customer, regulatory, and industry standards.
  • Validate technical choices and ensure compliance with FAA and Safran standards.
• Testing & Validation
  • Develop and execute testing protocols for systems and components.
  • Analyze test data, identify issues, and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure designs meet performance, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Coordinate with design, analysis, manufacturing, and quality teams.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders and customers.
  • Identify technical risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Support continuous improvement and innovation initiatives.

• Education
  :
  Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• Experience
  : 5–7 years in electrical systems design and testing, preferably in aerospace.
• Skills
  :
  Systems engineering and electrical architecture design; CAD tools and simulation systems; regulatory compliance (FAA, aerospace standards); strong leadership and communication skills.
• Preferred
  :
  Experience with power generation systems, risk mitigation, and cross‑functional team management; lead and coordinate engineering teams; serve as technical chair for problem reporting and resolution; participate in and lead multi‑disciplinary design reviews internally and with customers.
