MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN - Twinsburg, OH

Possible contract-to-hire position

Pay Rate: up to $37.00 per hour depending on candidates skill set and experience

Sign on bonus is available effective upon hire or conversion with the signing of a promissory note for one year

• Second Shift: TENTATIVE SHIFT TIMES 3:00PM - 11:00PM
• Third Shift: TENTATIVE SHIFT TIMES 11:00PM - 7:00AM

Perform a wide variety of mechanical and electrical maintenance work of a skilled and complex nature. Installs, repairs, and maintains manufacturing equipment and plant facilities necessary for satisfacatory operation of equipment and processes. This position is moderately physical.

• Diagnose mechanical, electrical/electronic, hydraulic, and combustion malfunctions and operating difficulties. Determines repair procedures and implements those repairs that will be effective in preventing recurrence
• Can navigate and interpret ladder logic in SLC 500, PLC 5, and Control Logix software for the purpose of troubleshooting equipment faults
• Can modify positions and diagnose problems on ABB robots. Models M94, M98, M2000, M2600, and M6700.
• Installs, moves, and aligns new and existing equipment
• Sets up and operates various types of machine shop equipment with a moderate degree of accuracy and efficiency
• Performs both gas and electric welding operations
• Completes related machine repair records, performs associated handling duties, and maintains work area in a neat and orderly condition
• Performs all necessary preventative and proactive tasks on plant equipment
• Performs other related duties as assigned by supervision and/or designated team leader

• 48 months or related experience in Allen Bradley, Hydraulics, Robotics, and Welding. A Maintenance Technician "A" Level must be proficient at troubleshooting die casting machine cells through the use of PLCs and electrical and hydraulic schematics
• Must be able to apply principles acquired through technical or vocational subjects (certificates or some college courses)
