Job Description & How to Apply Below
Work model:
Onsite at our Twinsburg facility. Benefits begin on day one.
A day in the life
You start your shift by verifying gauge setups against masters, confirming measurement systems are within spec. You rotate through inspection gates—receiving, in-process, first article (AS9102), pre/post OSP, and final—using calipers, micrometers, height stands, dial indicators, comparators, vision systems, and CMMs to validate conformance. When you find a discrepancy, you immediately quarantine the part, initiate an NCR, and drive the next steps to protect flow and schedule.
Throughout the day, you partner with manufacturing and quality engineering—troubleshooting gage issues, contributing to new or modified gauging concepts, and escalating any quality-caused work stoppages without delay. You capture inspection data accurately, close loops on paperwork before shift-end, and help maintain SQDC performance across Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost.
