- Variable start times around 8:30am (8 and 9 hr shifts)
- Call requirements approximately 3 weeknights per month, 1 weekend per 14-16 weeks. Holiday call also.
- 30 minute response time required

Where You Will WorkSurgical Services is located on the second floor of our hospital. With many of our patient rooms facing lakeside. We support 7 Operating Rooms, 2 GI rooms, 7 PACU bays and 16 Pre/Post Operative Rooms.
We’re Looking For- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Required to obtain ACLS and PALS by the American Heart Association
- As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
- Using evidence‑based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.

Our cancer and cardiac care programs have received national recognition for their best practices and quality of care. You can also count on Aurora Health Center, located on the same campus, to offer convenient care in conjunction with the hospital.
Specialists in a variety of fields see patients right next door to the hospital and offer in‑hospital consultations.
