General Accountant

Location: Tyler, TX (On-site)

Base pay range: $60,000.00/yr - $70,000.00/yr

Competitive Salary Range: $65,000K–$70,000K

Do you have a knack for numbers, a love for problem-solving, and the drive to make an impact in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? We’re looking for a General Accountant who can roll up their sleeves and dive deep into cost analysis, inventory accuracy, and process improvements all while working closely with our production and operations teams.

• Analyzing inventory transactions and production data to spot trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
• Serving as the control point for all inventory ensuring counts are accurate, reconciliations are spot-on, and data integrity is rock solid.
• Performing monthly mass balance analyses and preparing key reports for leadership.
• Partnering with supervisors and managers to solve operational and accounting challenges.
• Supporting month-end close, year-end reporting, and compliance with HACCP, GMP, and SQF requirements.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business (preferred) OR an associate degree/diploma with 3–5 years’ experience in accounting/cost analysis.
• Experience: 2+ years of accounting experience, ideally in manufacturing or cost accounting.
• Skills:
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency with ERP systems (QAD, SAP, Oracle, etc.)
  • Advanced Excel knowledge (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs)
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
