Commissioning Manager for a leading EPC Engineering contractor in TX!

Base pay range: $/yr – $/yr

We are on the hunt for a dynamic and experienced Permanent Commissioning Manager to join our team in the Construction industry. Our ideal candidate will be a highly competent professional with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field, adept at managing and coordinating various technical aspects of construction projects. The candidate must have a strong background in Electrical, Construction, EPC, Commissioning, and Substation projects.

• Oversee the commissioning process for all construction projects, ensuring that all systems and components are designed, installed, tested, operated, and maintained according to the operational requirements of the client.
• Develop and implement commissioning plans and schedules, and ensure that they are adhered to.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that all aspects of the commissioning process are effectively managed.
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure that all equipment and materials are delivered on time and are of the highest quality.
• Train and mentor staff on commissioning procedures and best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during the commissioning process.
• Document and report on the progress of the commissioning process, providing regular updates to senior management and stakeholders.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
• Proven expertise in Electrical, Construction, EPC, Commissioning, and Substation projects.
• A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with team members at all levels of the organization.
• Strong problem‑solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make effective decisions under pressure.
• Proficiency in using project management software and other relevant computer applications.
• A thorough understanding of safety regulations and standards in the construction industry.
• Certification in commissioning management or a related field would be an added advantage.
