Teaching experience within the last three years required

Maintain a private dermatology practice in Tyler with the group

UT Tyler School of Medicine dermatology residency program:

• Planning to apply for ACGME approval for a 6-resident program

• New medical school launched June 2023 with 40 students focused on serving East Texas

• UT Tyler currently operates 12 residency programs, with two more launching soon

Dermatology Department includes:

• 10 board-certified dermatologists, dermatopathologists, and Mohs surgeons

• 19 clinical locations across East Texas

• Full-service dermatology training including medical, surgical, cosmetic, and dermatopathology

Program Director responsibilities:

• Shape curriculum, provide mentorship, and oversee educational structure

• Collaborate with faculty and operational leadership

• Support the development of dermatologists who serve local communities

• Contribute to improving dermatologic care knowledge for primary care trainees
