- UT Health Tyler, the flagship hospital of the system, has 502 licensed beds specializing in advanced acute care medicine. Our hospital includes a 24-hour ER with Level 1 trauma center, a comprehensive stroke center, more than 500 physicians and a full complement of subspecialty groups.
The EKG Technician is responsible for obtaining high quality EKG’s and ancillary duties with compassion and respect towards their patients, co‑workers, physicians and visitors.
QualificationsJob Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of GE EKG carts.
- Knowledge of MUSE EKG management system.
- Knowledge of basic EKG rhythms and life‑threatening arrhythmias.
Preferred
Job Requirements:
- Previous experience in a hospital setting.
- Previous EKG experience.
- Certification through CCI.
