• Dust and clean assigned areas including resident rooms, living areas, furniture, fixtures, ventsatement, lavatories, and basins as scheduled.
• Dust‑mop, wet‑mop, or spot‑mop floors using appropriate proportioned concentrated cleaning chemicals as scheduled.
• Strip, seal, wax, and/or buff floors as necessary.
• Vacuum, extract, and/or shampoo carpets as necessary.
• Wash and dry windows using appropriate proportioned concentrated cleaning chemicals as scheduled.
• Empty trash containers, replace liners, and dispose of trash in proper receptacles.
• Strip and dispose of spoiled linens in appropriate receptacles for washing.
• Replace linens and make residents’ beds as scheduled.

• Knowledge and understanding on how to properly use cleaning chemicals Appalachian Safety Data Sheets.
• Use proper safety equipment and tools to identify safety hazards and abide by community’s safety policies and procedures.
