A law firm seeks a full-time Associate Attorney to join its office in Tyler, Texas. This role involves a combination of litigation and transactional work in business law, real estate, estate planning, and probate.
Duties- Handle civil litigation matters from start to finish, including discovery, hearings, and trial preparation.
- Draft and review contracts, real estate documents, wills, trusts, and business formation documents.
- Conduct legal research and prepare legal memoranda, pleadings, and client communications.
- Communicate effectively with clients, courts, and opposing counsel.
- Manage case deadlines and maintain organized case files.
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) and active Texas law license.
- 1‑4 years of relevant experience preferred; recent graduates with strong internships or clerkships will be considered.
- Strong writing, research, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
- Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.
