Right of Way (ROW) Project Manager will be assigned to one or more projects, overseeing the project and its employees. Excellent communication between field personnel and management is required, along with leadership qualities, business skills, and experience in management, budgeting, and analysis.
Responsibilities- Assist management with client contract negotiations and review contract/work order terms.
- Coordinate with the supervisor in developing project scope, budget, deliverables and milestones to meet client needs.
- Refine company SOP in agreement with client specifics and implement project-level SOP.
- Serve as the company’s onsite representative for internal functions and attend client meetings.
- Assist in scheduling and completion of onsite audits.
- Ensure accuracy of client reports, GIS reporting tools, and project reporting.
- Attend initial project kick-off meetings and conference calls.
- Communicate potential cost overruns and scope changes with the client promptly.
- Coordinate with accounting to verify client invoices and follow up with clients.
- Approve project‑related expenses.
- Manage direct reports and field personnel, handle office‑related issues.
- Hold regular management meetings for communication and training.
- Communicate client scope changes with direct reports.
- Provide alignment between delivery and services with shared services.
- Generate and submit Change Order documentation to support scope changes.
- Monitor and coordinate staffing levels with the client.
- Assist supervisor with staffing guidance and performance reviews of direct reports.
- Provide coaching, training, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Assist with or approve disciplinary actions in compliance with company policy.
- Assist sales and marketing with project cost estimates and lead communication via CRM.
- Coordinate marketing efforts for potential events and collaborations.
- Assist in Requests for Proposal and formal estimates preparation.
- Assist in asset inventory.
- Be involved in AAPL or IRWA where applicable.
- Participate in local association leadership and events.
- Attend industry‑related seminars or events as required.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- CPL or RPL certification for Upstream PM required.
- Effective communication skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and e‑mail.
- Two to four years of supervisory experience.
- At least six years of relevant industry experience.
- Strong understanding of legal aspects, property values, environmental issues, and permitting requirements.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Excellent planning, organization, and time‑management skills.
- Willingness to take on additional responsibilities.
- Reliable attendance according to the agreed schedule.
- Compliance with applicable laws, regulations and company policies.
- Primarily office‑based; majority of time seated.
- Occasional standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
- Requires visual acuity, including close and distance vision and color vision.
Mid‑Senior level.
