Machine Operator IV

2nd Shift - Monday - Friday - 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM (based on business needs and job completions which could include overtime both during the week and on weekends)

Primarily responsible for operating a complex machine in a manufacturing environment.

• Prepares Items for Processing by being responsible for receipt inspection and preparation of parts and ensuring assigned machine is in good working condition.
• Machine Production by operating machine in accordance with established procedures; using knowledge and experience to resolve basic operating problems and reports other problems to supervisor; conserving resources by using equipment and supplies to complete tasks without waste; and cleaning machine after operations and placing discarded material in designated areas.
• Maintains Quality by conducting multiple spot checks during the workday to ensure products meet established standards; and maintaining a log of items identified as out of tolerance with established standards.
• Ensures Safety by maintaining a clean and organized work environment, following safety policies and procedures, and reporting unsafe conditions to Supervisor.

• High School Diploma.
• Ability to read and follow documented instructions in English or Spanish.
• Strong attention to detail.

• Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness.
• Related experience in a manufacturing setting preferred.

• Will receive training on specific machine to be operated.

Maintenance Self‑paced, 8 hr shifts. May be exposed to fumes, loud noises, and extreme temperatures infrequently. Functional near, far and peripheral vision and functional hearing required.

Physical Demands:
Maintenance Medium – Very heavy, lifting up to 150 lbs.
