Technical Sales Specialist

Overview

Join BWI Companies as a Technical Sales Specialist in Jacksonville, Texas. In this role you will drive sales and provide support for custom greenhouse structures, equipment and accessories.

• Consult customers, design projects, estimate costs, manage construction and deliver after‑sales support.
• Lead inbound sales calls and deliver technical support for BWI customers and sales staff.
• Build and maintain vendor relationships to enhance customer services.
• Coordinate greenhouse project design, new construction and remodeling, including material delivery, contractor scheduling and site visits.
• Provide ongoing customer service, technical support and trade show participation.
• Travel up to 25% of the time to develop greenhouse sales opportunities within the BWI distribution area.
• Perform all other duties as directed by the GTS Manager.

• Bachelor’s degree and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• One year of related sales experience with mechanical and construction knowledge preferred.
• Strong desire to learn, grow and build relationships.
• Effective communication, detail orientation, organized and dependable.
• Ability to solve problems, make decisions and take actions to reach goals.

Starting salary of $50,000 annually, with compensation based on experience and skills.
