  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical/vocational training, trade school coursework, or related military experience preferred.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn industrial maintenance in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
  • Basic ability (or strong interest in learning) to work with mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
  • Ability to read and follow equipment manuals, simple schematics, and technical instructions (training provided).
  • Proficiency with common hand tools and power tools; openness to learning diagnostic equipment.
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced production environment and respond to emergency repairs as needed.
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs. frequently and 100+ lbs. occasionally, work at heights, climb ladders, and stand/walk for extended periods.
  • Proactive mindset with high initiative and a desire to take ownership of assigned tasks.
  • Basic computer skills for reporting and documentation.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Any prior hands-on experience (internship, apprenticeship, part-time, or personal projects) with machinery, tools, or fabrication equipment.
  • Exposure to CNC equipment, plasma cutters, roll formers, overhead cranes, automated welding systems, or forklifts.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical systems, motors, or welding/light fabrication.
  • Interest in PEMB, structural steel, or heavy fabrication environments.
Working Conditions
