Driver​/Warehouse- HOLT Truck Centers

Job Summary

The Parts Delivery Driver delivers customer parts with excellent customer service, maintains inventory control, and upholds a safe and secure environment. The position also involves warehouse duties such as stocking parts, performing cycle counts, pulling orders, handling dirty core processing, and general warehouse tasks.

• Deliver to customers safely, efficiently and on time
• Ensure proper inventory control
• Make sure customer needs are met and any issues addressed
• Ensure proper items pulled for delivery order
• Properly load orders into delivery vehicle
• Maintain proper condition of delivery vehicle and notify supervisor of any repairs needed
• Verify orders for correct pulls
• Ensure cores are returned for credit
• Return incorrectly ordered parts
• Stock shelves as needed
• Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers
• Ensuring all orders are accurate before delivery
• Quickly resolve any erroneous parts deliveries
• Requires regular and punctual employee attendance
• Works safely always and adheres to all applicable safety policies; complies with all company policies, procedures, and standards
• Performs other duties assigned

• General knowledge of trucking industry helpful
• Excellent communication skills
• Customer service skills
• General understanding of inventory management

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Forklift certified
• Some delivery experience is preferred
• Must have valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record
• Supervisor responsibilities:
  None

• Travel locally up to 100%

• Employee is required to stand, walk, kneel, squat, crawl, bend, and twist
• Employee may have to climb and/or lift to and over 80 lbs. frequently
• Visual requirements are constant

• Duties are performed throughout the inside and outside of the building(s)
• Employee is exposed to dirt, dust, heat, cold, noise and vibration, fumes and odors, wetness, and humidity and sometimes darkness
