Group Leader – Alpha

Now hiring for the 2025/2026 school year.

Location:

Tyngsborough, MA.

Schedule:

No weekends;
Part‑time hours of 6:30‑8:30 am & 3:00‑6:00 pm.

• Lead a group of student explorers through exciting adventures in fitness, the arts, technology, and more.
• Work collaboratively with peers to ignite children's sense of wonder.
• Encourage creativity and intellectual curiosity by building on students' interests and talents.
• Provide a caring, family‑oriented environment where positive staff‑child‑and‑parent relationships are fostered.

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 18 years old.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet program staffing needs.
• Registered and have full clearance from the state childcare licensing agency.
• Proof of experience as required by state childcare licensing regulations.

• Bachelor's Degree (BS/BA) or Associate's Degree (AS/AA) in a related field.
• 1‑year state or nationally recognized credential related to school‑age care.
• Completion of 20 credits (semester system) or 30 credits (quarter system) of training at a college or university AND at least 1 year of qualifying teaching experience in a Certified Child Care Center (or comparable group care program).
• Two or more years of qualifying teaching experience (with at least one year as a teacher) in a Certified Child Care Center (or comparable group care program).
