Member Service Representative, FT40 – Jeanne D'Arc Credit Union
Join our team and make an impact at Jeanne D'Arc Credit Union. You will work under the leadership of the Assistant Branch Manager to serve as the primary agent for building member relationships through education about Credit Union products and services.
Pay RangeBase pay: $17.54/hr – $26.31/hr
Responsibilities- Greets members and provides relevant information regarding transactions, products, and services. Takes responsibility for fulfilling member service requests, including account opening, access services, maintenance, domestic wires, loan applications, and funding within authorized signing authority.
- Demonstrates a commitment to learning and thoroughly understanding all Credit Union deposit and loan products and services.
- Performs individual settlement procedures and balances MSR cash drawer, daily transactions and assists with branch balancing.
- Actively engages in the relationship-building process through educating and referring Credit Union products and services. Takes responsibility for directing members to the appropriate department or resource for further information and services as necessary.
- Deescalates challenging member situations by problem-solving, exercising sound judgment and decision-making skills while demonstrating a special effort to say yes.
- Remains vigilant and aware of surroundings and reports unusual or suspicious behaviors, activity, or inconsistencies.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
- One year of related experience required.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including confidentiality, discretion, diplomacy, and tact.
- Good verbal communication skills and ability to explain financial concepts clearly and concisely.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and ability to learn bank core systems.
- Highly motivated, detail-oriented, organized, and efficient with multitasking.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Must be able to stand, sit, walk, reach and lift up to 10 lbs regularly.
