Senior Accountant

HR Generalist/HR Business Partner, MBA, PHR Position Summary

• The senior accountant will be responsible for assisting the accounting team in all areas such as month/year end close, preparing financial analysis and reports, maintaining and reconciling balance sheet and general ledger accounts, and assisting in all areas of the department such as AR, AP, Tax, Payroll. The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Month End Journal Entries, Account Analysis, Preparing Financial Statements, Inventory, and Month End Close
• Backup A/P and A/R, Credit Card Posting and Reconciliation, Sales and Use Tax Filing
• Bank Reconciliations, Setting up ACH’s And Wires, Special Projects

• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience at a senior level.
• Solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Experience in using integrated Accounts Payable software
• Expert in the use of excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP’s, etc.)
