Position Summary: We’re seeking an Accounting and Benefits Manager (ABM) who values accuracy, structure, and collaboration. This role oversees payroll, accounting, financial reporting, and employee benefits administration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accounting & Finance: Manage month‑end and year‑end close processes and reporting. Oversee budgets, forecasts, A/P, and A/R. Reconcile bank, cash, and credit card accounts. Process payroll in compliance with federal and state regulations. Audit inventory valuation and pricing data for accuracy. Prepare financial reports for leadership decision‑making. Support internal and external audits with required documentation.
- Benefits & HR Administration: Administer employee benefits programs (enrollment, updates, issue resolution). Serve as the primary contact for benefits inquiries. Maintain personnel records and ensure compliance with employment laws. Support recruiting, offer coordination, and onboarding activities.
- Compliance & Process Management: Ensure compliance with GAAP, labor, and benefits regulations. Maintain policies, procedures, and internal controls. Identify process improvements for efficiency and accuracy. Partner with leadership on operational and strategic initiatives.
Qualifications: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred). 5+ years of accounting, payroll, and benefits administration experience (manufacturing preferred). Strong knowledge of GAAP, payroll, and benefits regulations. Proficiency with Quick Books, Sage, ADP, Paychex, or similar tools. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
