Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) – Part-time, Evenings Only
Myers Assessment and Therapeutic Services (MATS) strives to provide effective, individualized, evidence-based therapy in a warm, nurturing environment which enhances the quality of life for the autism community by focusing on socially significant skill sets. Family support through family training and ongoing staff training are key components of our treatment approach.
RBTs who join MATS have opportunities to progress their long-term careers, including potential advancement to senior RBTs or more senior clinicians, and greater involvement in the management of the business.
Job Purpose:
The RBT is a critical part of the clinical team, working with clients in a range of environments. The role requires compassion, energy, and physical capability to engage children in tasks and play activities aligned with the child’s individualized behavioral plan. Our experienced clinical leaders provide ongoing training and supervision to support one-to-one behavioral therapy for children with autism, with investment in your development and career progression.
With guidance from our clinical leadership, you will contribute positively to the lives of children with autism.
Responsibilities- Understand and implement each client’s individual behavior plan.
- Provide one-on-one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to clients.
- Use ABA processes and strategies (e.g., discrete trial training, prompting/fading, reinforcement, preference assessment, shaping, chaining, and social skills group leadership).
- Enter electronic data promptly and accurately, meeting clinical standards of practice.
- Provide feedback to the clinical leadership team regarding client needs and changes in behavior.
- Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure clinically sound treatment and interventions.
- Obtain and maintain RBT certification; maintain a log of supervision hours as required.
- Meet weekly productivity targets as determined by the Clinical Director.
- Protect the health and safety of clients and staff by reporting all incidents and following health and safety procedures.
- Complete additional duties as assigned.
- This job operates mainly in In-Home and community-based settings.

- Required:
High-school diploma or equivalent - Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Health, Education, or related field - Preferred:
Experience in ABA (2+ years) - Must pass MATS-administered background check
- CPR certification (obtain and maintain)
- Reliable car, proof of auto insurance, and valid driver’s license
- RBT certification (preferred) and ongoing professional development

Part-time availability;
Pay:
Up to $30.00 per hour depending on experience
- Day shift, Monday to Friday;
Evening and weekend availability - Willingness to travel up to 50% (preferred)
