This full-time position is based in Tyrone, GA. The book of business develops over time, with compensation transitioning to 100% commission after 3 years as you build relationships and grow the practice.

Job Description

Responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to meet or exceed monthly and annual sales goals by generating leads through networking, prospecting, referrals, and account rounding. Responsible for conducting needs assessments, providing insurance proposals, and recommending coverage options to clients. Responsible for working in conjunction with Team Members to service current clients by maintaining ongoing relationships with those clients’ ownership teams through continued stewardship, risk assessment, and risk management.

Essential

Functions
  • Build strong relationships with potential and existing clients to identify and meet their insurance needs.
  • Promote teamwork by maintaining a positive and respectful attitude with colleagues.
  • Collaborate with underwriters and internal teams to ensure client satisfaction and timely policy issuance.
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills through verbal and/or written exchanges, active listening, and respectful responses.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activity in the Agency’s CRM system.
  • Maintain confidentiality of client, employee, carrier, and other sensitive information.
  • Continue professional development through continuing education, industry events, and regular sales training.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers, and other devices.

Type/Hours

This is a full-time position with typical hours Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Hours may vary depending on department and workload.

Travel

Travel is required for this role.

Required Education And Experience
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Insurance License
Preferred Education And Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of sales experience with a proven track record
  • Prior insurance sales experience
