Senior Accountant
Hybrid - 4days in office
$80k-$100k

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join a growing accounting team and provide critical support during the month-end close process. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can work independently, and is comfortable taking ownership of key accounting functions from day one.
The ideal candidate will bring a strong corporate accounting background, a solid understanding of GAAP, and hands-on experience with complex reconciliations, accruals, fixed assets, and lease accounting.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and record month-end journal entries and accruals, including:
- Accounts Payable accruals
- Legal accruals
- Bonus accruals
- Expense accruals
- Manage prepaid schedules and monthly amortization entries
- Maintain fixed asset records, depreciation schedules, and CIP accounting
- Perform ASC 842 lease accounting, including lease reconciliations and monthly entries
- Support intercompany and elimination entries as needed
- Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations
- Analyze account activity and investigate variances
- Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities
- Support audit requests and provide accounting documentation as required
- Identify process improvements and assist with special projects
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Senior Accountant-level experience required
- Strong month-end close experience
- Corporate accounting experience strongly preferred
- Advanced knowledge of general ledger accounting and account reconciliations
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
